Kodak Professional is now offering a new digital product in its line. They have recently released the Kodak DCS 315 digital camera, a high performance single lens reflex (SLR) camera built on a Nikon camera. The DCS 315 features a 1.5 megapixel full frame CCD and interchangable Nikon lenses, the camera also offers flexiblilty in capturing techniques for both virtual reality applications and web development.

In this issue, we're looking at the new EOS-3 from Canon. Canon announces the worldwide introduction of the EOS-3, a full featured professional SLR camera incorporating the world's first 45-point Area AF system, as well as higher speed eye-control and improved high speed focus tracking. A range of accessories developed specifically for the EOS-3, including a new Speedlite flash, is also being introduced. Designed together with the EOS-3, the Speedlite 550EX is the main component of a new flash system fully compatible with the new camera.
